Abdullah Returns Home After Five-day Working Visit To Japan




OSAKA, May 25 - Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi left for home Friday after a five-day working visit to Japan to further strengthen bilateral relations.
Abdullah left for Kuala Lumpur boarding a special aircraft from Kansai International Airport, here.
He was sent off by Malaysian Ambassador to Japan Datuk Mohd Radzi Abdul Rahman.
Abdullah wrapped up his visit to Japan by meeting Malaysian students here.
During his visit, Abdullah among others held bilateral talks with his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe, delivered a keynote address at the 13th Nikkei International Conference and was awarded with an honorary doctorate from Meiji University.
