Caution call from "Sex Doctor"

KUALA TERENGGANU (Warkah Timur) - Members of the public, especially women asked to be careful if I get a call from a man who introduced himself as a doctor to avoid a scam victim.

Men believed involved in the 'sex mad' is said to disguise as a medical officer and contacted the female patient and give direction does not make sense, supposed to cure diseases caused by them.

Deputy Director of Health (Pharmacy) Terengganu, Dr Mohammad Omar when expose the matter said, his agency received a complaint from a female patient who claims to be contacted 'Tan'.

According to him, the man who introduced himself as Dr Tan had contacted the victim to teach women to do breast self-examination (BSE) through phone calls.

"For sure mang sa that he really a doctor, the man was also co takan some personal information, the victim causing her to believe," he said yesterday.

Dr Mohammad said, the man believed to obtain personal information by impersonating the victim in the hospital before they Ngi menghubu and give instructions for medical examination of allegedly obscene.

He said the same case was reported several years ago but when it spread its activities to the public, the men crazy sex act to stop it for a while, before returning to interfere with the patient after it subsided.

Accordingly, he asks any woman who has been a victim of the doctor involved a false police report to ensure that things do not recur in the future.

"Of course we have received complaints about this matter but the department can not take action other than to inform the medical officer did not treat patients through phone calls because that's not our procedure.

"This act is in fact affect the good name of the Department of Health and we hope that the public was a police report if the victim so that authorities can take appropriate action," he said.

Pembinaan Hospital Rompin Telan Kos RM110 JUTA

KUALA ROMPIN – Sebanyak RM110 juta diperuntukkan untuk membina Hospital Rompin di sini, yang dijangka siap menjelang akhir November 2011.

Timbalan Menteri Kesihatan, Datuk Rosnah Rashid Shirlin berkata, projek hospital itu diluluskan kerajaan untuk dilaksanakan dalam Rancangan Malaysia Kesembilan (RMK-9).

Beliau berkata, keputusan kerajaan untuk membina hospital itu selaras dengan objektif kerajaan untuk memperbaiki dan meningkatkan perkhidmatan kesihatan di negara ini.

“Kementerian Kesihatan sentiasa prihatin dan memberi tumpuan serius dalam menyediakan kemudahan yang baik kepada rakyat,” katanya ketika berucap pada Majlis Pecah Tanah Tapak Hospital Rompin, semalam.

Majlis pecah tanah tapak hospital seluas 7.740 hektar itu, disempurnakan Sultan Pahang, Sultan Ahmad Shah dengan menandatangani plak pelancaran.

Rosnah berkata, hospital itu bakal dibina atas tapak seluas 7.740 hektar yang terletak kira-kira 5 kilometer dari Pekan Kuala Rompin.

“Hospital Rompin adalah hospital tanpa pakar dan skop perkhidmatan yang disediakan ialah perkhidmatan pesakit luar am, rawatan kecemasan, kepakaran secara lawatan, pesakit dalam dengan kemudahan 60 katil.

“Turut dilengkapi pusat hemodialisis, perkhidmatan X-ray, fisioterapi, farmasi dan perkhidmatan sokongan lain yang berkaitan,” katanya.

Menurutnya, projek hospital itu turut menyediakan kemudahan penginapan untuk anggota sebanyak 44 unit kuarters kelas D, F, G dan kemudahan 20 bilik asrama jururawat.

Rosnah berkata, kementerian amat maklum bahawa sebuah lagi hospital diperlukan di Kuala Rompin berikutan daerah itu yang luas, selain hospital sedia ada iaitu Hospital Muadzam Shah yang terletak jauh daripada pusat pentadbiran.

“Selain kepadatan penduduk yang bertambah di daerah ini, ia sudah tentu memberi kesukaran kepada penduduk untuk menerima rawatan tambahan pula terdapat jeti Tanjung Gemok yang menjadi pintu masuk utama ke Pulau Tioman,” katanya.

Menurutnya, seramai 58,030 pesakit pada tahun lalu mendapat rawatan di Klinik Kesihatan Rompin, Klinik Kesihatan Tanjung Gemok dan Klinik Kesihatan Tekek.

“Hampir 1,000 pesakit perlu dirujuk ke hospital untuk rawatan lanjut manakala jumlah pesakit ibu mengandung dan kanak-kanak pula ialah seramai 15,488 orang dan hampir 500 dirujuk ke hospital.

“Seramai hampir 1,700 pesakit am dan 100 pesakit ibu mengandung pula perlu dimasukkan ke Wad Bersalin di Klinik Kesihatan Rompin,” katanya.
